Is Kink Mainstream?
I read a Fleshbot article, “Did Kink Just Go Basic”, where it discusses how BDSM has become infused with our culture… but is that a good thing?
The article makes several positive and negative points. Mainly, it’s wonderful that people are accepting or are aware of alternative sexual orientations besides missionary. However, without proper explanation, there is a lot of misinformation.
I encourage you to read the article, then share your thoughts with me. Let’s get into a good discussion. Read fast and send me your comments, and I’ll do another blog post next week!

Sadly, my own state has a bill against adult content. I am hopeful it won’t pass, but just the fact that it’s been submitted is highly distressing… there’s really nothing more to say. 🙁

Additionally, Lucy would like me to write a guest blog post in November! I proposed a commentary about made-for-TV Christmas movies to go in conjunction with this year’s Christmas novel, “An Ornamental Christmas”–which will be released on Black Friday this year (November 28). She happily accepted.

Cuteness Alert!
Warning… you may overdose on cuteness!
I just got a new puppy! He has bloodlines connected to two of my previous boys, which was important to me. He is a fox red lab named Koki, and he is taking up a lot of time–in a good way! But don’t feel abandoned if you don’t see me as much in smedia.
Ledger is being a very good boy with the new guy, though he’s not entirely sure about the whole thing.
I got him on Tuesday, which was a long day for both of us. Happy to report that Koki fared all of his travels well… but had a bad first night missing his litter mates.
Last night, though, he went for a little run. When I walked out of my house, there were three deer in my yard, who ran across the street… and stayed there, watching us walk around. Halfway into our jaunt, the deer walked toward us, and I thought they were going to come right up to us, but they moved to the side.
One was a baby, and it sprinted away. The other two continued to watch us walk.
We were so close to them, but Koki never saw them. He doesn’t see very far yet, and it was pretty dark out.
The best part is that Koki slept ALL NIGHT last night! When he went outside at a quarter to six this morning, he peed for a verrry long time 😀
He’s now sleeping in his crate, giving me the time to get this post out! Enjoy… but I cannot be held accountable for any cuteness overloads.

Previous Ask-er ~ Thanks. I just read your post. I think you are correct. However, I tried a couple of times before to go into a sex shop with her, but without luck. She does not want to do that. That said, I will try a slower approach, to convince her to do so.
One more point, you are ‘somehow’ correct that I have not experimented with kink in the real world. But it is not 100% true. A while back, I had an online femdom. She used a mic with me, and I used a cam with her (body only). She would control me mentally and sexually. Including caging me and so on. Granted, this was NOT the full experience, but it gave me a taste of what such experience would be like.
