I’ve talked with many of you about the issues I’ve experienced. It’s been wonderful to speak with tech savvy folks. Borntosuffer and sizeerrorprojection pointed me to which brands to avoid or consider. LeftField figured out how to make an older version of Office install properly on an OLED screen. And toymax has tirelessly researched, explained and suggested many time-savers and problem-solving tips. Thank you all!
I have actually gotten and returned three laptops this year, waited for what I thought was my most coveted one, and finally settled for ____. I’m purposefully leaving that blank because I am having major issues with the battery life, and I don’t want to “out” the manufacturer just yet.
It’s been nearly three weeks, speaking with several departments, getting wrong information, not enough information and/or being ignored. I’ll tell you a quick instance to give you a taste of my irritation. I was told to tell the entry level person that my case is at the escalation department and that it’s a “hot call”. That person would then know to transfer me to the correct department.
Sooo, I did that, and the entry level person told me, “We don’t have an escalations department.”
*heavy sigh*
Don’t worry, though, it’s just the battery right now. I’m still able to create! And I have over 40 books that you can cozy up with during the winter.

Wish List Update
Many thanks to the special person who notified me of the error on my Wish List.
As with most things Amazon-related, the instructions on creating a Wish List weren’t clear. They hide the person’s address but, in the options section, there’s a choice for an address. I left it blank, thinking it would hide mine–not knowing it prevented anything from being shipped to me!
It wasn’t until I clicked the option that further instructions appeared… one of which was to hide the address.
That’s all a buncha pretense to the admission of my error. I hate being reminded that I’m NOT infallible! Anyway, it’s fixed now.

Jessie Spectre and I have begun the writing process for the fourth book in the “Eli” Series.
The “Eli” series is a *HOT* collaboration, even if you’re not gay. I’m a straight female, 
and I had to stop several times while writing and editing. Plus, it’s an amazing story that even includes a wise femdom. I know you’re going to love it as much as Jessie and I have loved writing it… maybe more!

My next book will be about a service sub whose Dominant recently passed. He finds an ad in the paper for a house slave and submits his application. He’s accepted into the training program, despite his years of service.
The orientation process is flawed, and the sub is disappointed with his fellow interns’ lack of seriousness, knowledge, and their daring nature. To his further dismay, the head mistress is cynical and mean, and doesn’t always adhere to proper safety.
The service sub decides to speak candidly with the domme…
Tributes
Being a female in kinky smedia, people have shared their intimate parts with me. So I repurposed the Tribute idea (common meaning is ejaculating on someone’s picture). I tell people in bdsmlr (a very Not Safe For Work site) if they’re interested in exhibitionism, I created a set of rules for first-time submissions.
After the first time, people are free to be as creative as they’d like, provided they have my name somewhere on their body. I also love tributes that include images of my book covers or with one of my books on the background screen.

I also tribute back in the form of birthday posts in bdsmlr. This week was toymax’s birthday (happy birthday again, toymax!). Click this Not Safe For Work link to see the birthday post.
It included a way for people to help toymax celebrate: The more people liked and/or reblogged the post, the more edging and spanking he’d have to do.
For each “hit”, toymax needs to spank himself and say aloud, “Thank you, Mistress B.J.” For so many hits, toymax would need to edge. And as a super bonus, if the post received 25 hits, he’d have to drip wax on himself for 19 seconds.
They had until yesterday to help “celebrate.” As of 9:30 p.m. EST last night, the post had 108 hits. Every time someone sent a message, toymax would respond, thereby creating yet another hit. *grin*
That means, toymax has to spank himself 108 times and say the above mantra after each. He has 4.5 hours of edging to do (it was slightly less, but I’m kind and rounded up). AND he also gets the bonus wax task.
Due to typical holiday chaos, toymax asked for leave until the first of the year to carry out his birthday presents. He’s ordered the candle and has promised to share the results with us!
