Mistress Mia ~ Why am I not surprised. The trailer for it was way too good and of course, it has to be some super powerful woman in a business aspect who wants to feel a little chubby while cheating on her husband. We could’ve totally had that same storyline with it being a man at the bottom and a woman as the dominant, but I’m fairly sure nobody would’ve bought a ticket for that… Not sexy enough.
I had a feeling that it wasn’t going to have any plot to it, especially since he was an intern and she was basically the head of the company. Like, seriously, bitch, you’re married with kids, and you’re going to toss it all the way on a 27-year-old intern with no prospects, no nothing, just because you felt like having a sub moment? She could’ve paid somebody for that experience with a professional and kept on about her business.
[After watching the movie] I dislike it more now than I did before. I actually watched it :p

Miss Pearl ~ I think it will make every single kinky identified person miserable because it’s not *for* us. It’s for people flirting with secret fantasies they feel embarrassed about, who want to be reassured about them. Someone like you or me is already past that.

Ryan ~ Nobody puts Babygirl in a corner. I haven’t even seen the movie, and everything I’ve heard about it has been colored by you. It’s very hard for me to go into the movie now without being somewhat biased. I’ve read the plot and I’ve heard it from you, and it doesn’t sound like something I’d care about. It sounds rather boring. I’d watch it if it was free on Netflix, maybe, but not something I’d pay to go see.
rubbug ~ I did see the trailer for Babygirl and thought it might be fun, but when I saw that Kidman was the sub, I became disinterested. Sounds like you really didn’t enjoy it at all. It’d be unfortunate that someone who creates so many wonderful kinky bdsm stories had to sit through this.
toymax ~ The movie opens on January 30 here in Germany, so I haven‘t seen it, but I watched the trailer. It didn‘t catch me and from what I‘ve read here, I won’t be watching it. I don‘t know much about the BDSM lifestyle in real life, but I was shocked to read that Kidman‘s movie character says she’s ‚abnormal‘, and there’s no commentary on that to correct or clarify it. Especially after I read John Gemini‘s words: „If you‘re into this stuff DO NOT try to ignore it or to find a miracle cure.“

The discussion continues with more of my rant, in the name of closure. And again, it contains spoilers–though I argue there’s nothing really to spoil because there is *no plot*.
There is a basic protocol of consent and acceptance, and it’s not relegated to kink. For example, there is an implied agreement that when you go see a movie, you will be told a cohesive story. “Babygirl” breaches even this basic protocol. *sigh*
Last time, I mentioned the two women I questioned after the movie, who thought it meant that the guy got his dog. That was the movie’s sum total point in their eyes. I couldn’t help but add, well, I guess you could also say that *she* got the dog, too, right?
The two women looked at each other as if *I* hadn’t seen the same movie they did, and the first woman repeated, more slowly, how HE got the dog, because he’s seen with a well-trained dog in the hotel room at the end.
So I explained that the movie opens with Nicole Kidman faking an orgasm because she’s not satisfied by her husband. The end of the movie shows Nicole Kidman experiencing a seemingly real orgasm *because*–we’re to assume–she “taught” her “dog” (husband) how to properly get her off. Therefore, SHE got the dog, too.
Once I explained that, the ladies agreed… but this is why I say that movies like this will set kink back decades. *sigh*
One more thing–do I sound as bitter as I feel??–it was exceedingly difficult to know that this Hollywood movie got to made with 
A-list Hollywood actors when “Mistress Managed” would’ve been a better use of talent, message and heat across the board.
“Mistress Managed” follows a female protagonist who’s an *actual* businesswoman. Jeneca Avery wasn’t subjected to sexual harassment in order to become partner in her law firm. She earned her promotion. Plus, she was in a happy marriage and raised happy kids… until her husband cheated on her.
Like Nicole Kidman’s character, Jeneca delves into real-life kink in her forties (yes, Nicole’s in her 50s, but shhh). And that’s as far as the similarities go.
Jeneca researches, learns, practices, and then anonymously hooks up with men to live out her dominant fantasies. “Mistress Managed” is a veritable how-to for kink and BDSM beginners, which definitely would not leave a vanilla audience confused. Instead, it would make vanillas itch to visit a sex store and try it for themselves.
Many of my other books would make great movies, too. So c’mon, Hollywood, let’s get this right!

Porn at the Supreme Court
Porn at the Supreme CourtTexas has become another state to place age gate restrictions on porn sites. It went back and forth, until their supreme court said, let’s go back to 1968 standards and apply the more lax law, which will give us the power to quash the First Amendment.
PornHub attorneys took the case to the U.S. Supreme Court and argued that the more applicable law comes from a 2004 case utilizing strict scrutiny–which is a higher level of standard. It’s to be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.
However, once they decide to rule in favor of the Texas Supreme Court, the implications become far-reaching. This type of ruling against basic rights opens the door and sets precedent to then ban/outlaw many other tangential issues, including: any forums discussing “deviant” sexuality; anything to do with transgender anything; and even basic reproductive health.
The oral argument occurred just days before the infamous January 20, 2025 date… which was Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, of course.

My favorite warning was the massage candle (even though this item is most likely a purchase), because it’s not common knowledge that you canNOT use regular candles for wax play. They aren’t made for skin contact.
Extra tip from me: make sure you have six inches between the candle and someone’s skin to start. Experiment at will afterwards for pain sluts. 🙂

Be Careful with Bots
I’m a staunch advocate for educating the intelligent against “people” who may be bots or those who are only interested in taking your money–and not in a good, findom way.
I’ve spoken with too many of you who have given in to the allure of fantasy turning into reality, only to be blackmailed for large sums of money. So, please, beware. Do not given out personal information. Do not send pictures of yourself to people you don’t know–and especially, don’t send pictures with your house as a backdrop, where someone can zoom in on mail, pictures of other family members or anything else that can be used against you.
There has been a mass exodus from Twitshitland. Many people have jumped into Blue Sky. If you’re one of them, follow me and send me a DM.
However, many bots also flooded Blue Sky; and they did so with intent. Meaning, when BS was first established, bots immediately took existing names from other platforms; porn stars, professional dommes, etc. So you may not be actually conversing with a real porn star.
Thomas Antonson recently switched and was immediately contacted by oodles of bots. Being the snarky guy I know and love, Thomas struck up a conversation with one. He was kind enough to allow me to post it:
Note on the left image, the immediate response is “I’m from Earth too”. That has to be an algorithm. A way to fake a connection. Hey, we’re neighbors. It’s easy to see with such a ridiculous place… but think to your conversations. You said, I’m from Springfield, and the bot immediately said, I’m from Springfield, too! See how that personalizes things? It makes you feel that connection, so you’re willing to divulge more information and think you’ll probably meet live.
You won’t.
Whoever is typing probably isn’t female. If she is, she’s not the image in her avatar. Also, she sure as shit is NOT from your [insert town here].
So once again, I urge you to think with the head that contains the brain, not the blood.
Multiperv has been plagued with bots in BS also, but recently reported that Support at BS has been active in getting rid of a large number of bots.
Still, be smart and think before you respond.

Thomas Antonson ~ Another great newsletter! Two contrasting items caught my attention. The first was Mistress Mia’s praise for the “Eli” series. I agree wholeheartedly with everything she said. The whole series should be a must-read for anyone considering getting into kink. It’s a primer on proper protocol and what can happen when it isn’t followed. Well deserved high praise from someone who is a professional kinkster and knows what she’s talking about.
On the other hand… the “up for discussion” segment (I love this new feature, by the way). Full marks for your take on the film “Babygirl” for driving home the point that the bias against a fair portrayal of kink in film and other mainstream media reinforces a lot of people’s refusal to accept kink as a part of sexuality. Terms like “abnormal” are not helpful. Nor is portraying a kink relationship that doesn’t follow proper protocol. Thanks for pointing these things out. I didn’t see the movie and I doubt if I will.
