We discussed “Her Wish. His Command.” at the very late time of 11p, Eastern. Even though it was late, it was a GREAT discussion.
Several questions came in ahead of time. We started with toymax’s questions, which were directed to the characters. I answered them from the cha
racters’ perspective, which was tons of fun. And follow-up questions were also aimed at the characters.
We also had an interesting question about consent… when it comes into play, how it looks in an early kink relationship, and whether boundaries and/or limits were acknowledged. I really like how the book demonstrated that the best kink relationships are defined by the people in them; “the author” did a great job! *grin*
I will tell you one question that wasn’t asked because Multiperv forgot last night. He wanted to know the ever-important fact of what Rachel and Melanie were wearing on their feet on that fated evening with Grant?
Since there was no mention of the removal of clothing or footwear at that time, the answer is that they were both barefoot. :p
There was also a very personal “reveal” about me and urine.
Yeah, that’s all I’m saying. Stuff happens in Book Club. If you want to know more, you should join us next time!

My first audiobook is now live on Audible. It’s bittersweet, actually. Positive because Audible opens the door to many more listeners.
Also, highly negative because the royalties paid are minimal at the exclusive level, and abyssmal at the non-exclusive rate. It pays only 25% of the sale price, which I cannot control. Audible automatically prices audiobooks without input from the publisher/author.
Keep in mind, I’m not using their production services. The files I’ve uploaded have already been produced at my expense. Audible is taking 75% for the ability to list my audiobook on their platform.
Again, I’ve decided to do this for readership. However, I much prefer you to purchase my audiobooks through my website.
Bounty Program
Audible offers a special “bounty” feature for verrry specific conditions:
1) You become a first-time Audible member;
2) Your first audiobook purchase or download as a first-time Audible member is one of mine;

Bonus Tidbit
I was late to meet Claire recently, and I laughed as I apologized. Because my reason for being late was due to getting caught up in reading… *my* books!
I had gotten up early and was going to get some writing time in before I needed to leave. My project is the trilogy with all of my characters. Things were going great, and I was getting words on the page, and I kept my eye on the clock. I was in great shape to finish the chapter and still leave on time.
As I wrote dialogue, I hesitated when I got to a term of endearment one character said to another. I couldn’t remember if there was something specific he used. So I pulled up that book and tried to find a section with chunky dialogue.
Fifteen minutes later, I had read the entire section, plus several more chapters because I loved the book!
When I told Claire, she said that I’m my own worst distraction. And then she said I needed a meme about that. I told her I knew just the person who could create one–rubbug.
And he did!
Isn’t it great? I texted it to Claire, and she sent back a laughing emoji. 😀

Trilogy Update
Speaking of the trilogy, I had a major creative breakthrough last week! When I went to plot out the next section, I decided that I needed to list the important scenes in each of the books. That led to creating a more cohesive arc for the entire series… AAANNNDDD I figured out some missin
g pieces to one of the bigger storylines!
That process also reminded me about other scenes I needed to include/tease in the first book, along with the book one’s ending/cliffhanger. This week, I should have all of the scenes placed in order.
I was shooting for book one to be written by the end of this month. I’ll be pretty close to hitting that deadline… fingers crossed (except for when I need to type)!
With all of the plotting and planning, by the time I go to write a chapter, it’s practically written. The flow is moving quickly. If anything, I have to curb all of the characters’ dialogue because they love to gab! 😀
Many thanks to all of the “sponsors” of this book. Each person’s scene or storyline has been enmeshed within the trilogy and will seamlessly be read as part of the books; not as disjointed additions. I’m so excited by this fact!
