Hump Day Challenge

Warning… you’re about to enter cuteness territory!
Koki has been a nutbag recently, grabbing shoes all the time. I don’t have any pictures because I don’t want him in the slightest bit thinking that it’s okay. He will bring me the contraband, and I can toss it and tell him to “leave it”, and he does.
However, he immediately goes to the shoe area and grabs a different one. I can’t technically be upset, because he IS “leaving” the ONE shoe I told him to avoid. *sigh*
He also does really well in school at home. He’s learning to “place” and stay, and he’s even quiet. Overall, he loves to learn and especially be told he’s a good boy.
When we get to obedience school, though, it’s a completely different story. He’s loud–like disruptively loud, he doesn’t listen, he’s distracted… all the way until 15 minutes before the end of class, when he’s calm and can then demonstrate that he’s not a complete spasmo.
The last class they brought out agility equipment, and Koki LOVED it! I am looking forward to training him to compete hopefully in the near future.
In the midst of the crazy and chaotic life of Koki lies my calm and lovable Ledger, who deserves his own spotlight. He’s getting old, and I don’t want to think about it. I just want to focus on his shining sphere of unconditional love. 🙂
Here’s a good shot of both of my boys. Ledger is calmly watching Koki attack his wreath. Yes, it’s from Christmas. The really great part about this toy is that it’s got a surprise inside! After Koki slobbered and broke through the fringe, he discovered rope! I captured the whole toy, rope and all, in this action shot.

Thomas Antonson’s Answer: Interesting question. Unfortunately, there has been no scientific research on this topic to date for reasons which should be fairly obvious.
A quick pass through a number of sources (links below) suggests certain things to avoid: Hard liquor, pot, tobacco, and cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, asparagus, cauliflower), garlic, leafy greens, meat, and dairy products. It is generally believed that consuming things like celery, wheat grass, parsley, cinnamon, nutmeg, pineapple, papaya, and oranges can make semen taste better.
Other factors include prescription and over-the-counter medications. Ever notice how your urine smells awful when you’re taking an antibiotic? I have.
My father was raised on a dairy farm, and he told me that if the cows got in the leeks (a form of onion), their milk would be ruined.
