KinkFest!
As Newsletter Subscribers know, I’ve been out of town a lot this year. I’m home for a couple of weeks before I will be a first-time vendor at KinkFest! I’m so excited!
Other vendors have been telling me I need to be at KinkFest because it’s huge–they’ve already sold over 3k tickets–vending is in a 50,000sf expo space! Plus, they’re efficient, posting all of the vendors with links a few months ago. I even sold a book already from the KF vendor page!

Coming verrry soon–like hopefully this weekend [along with another coupon, so if you’re not a subscriber, make sure you become one today]–is the audiobook for “He Wanted It”.
It is a first-person account of a wife learning how to be dominant in the face of a topping-from-the-bottom husband. It’s also the next Book Club book!
The book pairs with “It Wasn’t What I Wanted”, which is the same story from the husband’s perspective. Thomas Antonson is in production now for the audio version, so stay tuned.

You know I’ve been a long-time bdsmlr advocate, but with the continuous structural errors and massive shutdowns (not to mention a constant demand for money), it’s become too unreliable. I barely remember to check DMs–in fact, it shows I have one but I can’t find it. I’m only there to queue and remind people to check out Imaglr.
If you’re still on Tumblfux, it’s become even more ridiculous with bots running the show and algorithms censoring flower pix. When I promoted the audiobook for “I Blame Quentin Tarantino”, they marked it as mature–a fucking book cover with not only zero nudity but NO PEOPLE, even! Happy to say my appeal was granted, but WTAF.
But back to Imaglr. Recently I came across a follower who had severely underage posts–plural. I reached out to the admins, and they responded *in an HOUR*! They banned the blog after investigation and thanked me.
I asked why they didn’t have a “ban the blog” button instead of reporting individual posts, and they came back with a speedy and interesting answer. The admins said:
“We prefer per post because it’s quite possible that it’s actually repost and not posted by that specific account, that way we can easily track them.”
What a concept–they want to go to the source of the posting to make sure they’re getting rid of the entire problem! That’s really looking out for things on a higher level.
I hate change, but I’m impressed so far.

Next month I will post more pics. I’ve been gone too much and am behind on many things, and am getting ready for Kinkfest, so you’ll have to wait on the pics.
I can tell you that Koki continues to excel in the second obedience class… but we’re working on going QUIETLY from the car to the daycare. I see all the other well-mannered and quiet pups and am mortified with Koki’s need to alert everyone on the block that he has made it into daycare. It’s taken many trips back into the car, but he’s learning.
He’s also huge. I can’t lift him anymore!
