For those of you on bdsmlr, you know the infernal infrastructure irritations–and why I am now primarily on Imaglr (NSFW link: https://imaglr.com/profile/b-j-frazier).
It makes me extremely sad to have to move away from my first smedia site, but they were down for a long time in January with no warning. And when they were back up, in lieu of an update, they asked for subscriptions. *sigh*
In January I submitted a ticket outlining many problems with the site in general, and some specific to my blog. The ticket went unanswered, prompting me to send another one on January 22:
“10 days without a response except for an automated message. Sad to see the site actually collapsing [disappointed face emoji]”
After the automated “hey, we got your ticket email”, their response came on January 24:
“BDSMLR Support commented:
Hi B.J.,
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. There are bugs arising from the updates we are implementing on BDSMLR. Please rest assured, BDSMLR is not collapsing, and we are actively working on it. We understand the delays are frustrating, but we want to assure you that BDSMLR is neither collapsing nor abandoned.
We are closing tickets to avoid duplicates, not because they are resolved.

How do you close a ticket that hasn’t been resolved but also mark it as resolved?! Also, I cannot stand it when people thank me for my patience when I have none.
I had hoped to report that their updates have been resolved now; alas, that is not the case. The site went offline for a weekend or more just this month.

Warning… entering cuteness territory!
Despite my lack of being around to take Koki to school, he maintained his good-boy status! He even graduated from the first level of puppy obedience–though that last day he was anything but obedient. *sigh* Actually, he listened to the handlers and instructor; just not me. Here is the graduate in his cap. They had a cute banner backdrop and played “Pomp and Circumstance”. So proud!
Toys that have made it beyond Christmas are the rope, wreath and wubba. The rope and wreath are Koki’s faves. Ledge prefers the wubbas. He especially loves to squeak them *only* when I’m on the phone. And they’re LOUD! 😀
There’s a dog bed in my room that Koki covets–probably because I won’t let him sleep in it. I’m a bit nervous of having the boys on the same “level”. So Koki sleeps in my bed. He doesn’t realize he can jump down at any time and head for the dog bed, so shh, don’t tell him!
