The Soap Opera Begins!

The Dominion and the Sugilite ~ Episode 1

At long last, I give you the first episode in my Fantasy/Sci-Fi soap opera.

“The Dominion and the Sugilite” [D/s for short] takes place on the planet of Cybele where women rule, men labor, stones and jewelry are central, and sex is required to live.

The first episode centers around the national holiday Attis Day, which takes place on March 17th… hence, the soap’s debut date.

A holiday which focuses on a BDSM competition amongst 12 newly-trained dominatrices; the winner taking center stage.

The audience may have an unusual reaction… according to Earth standards. But this is Cybele, where power exchange is like candy.

Get in on the ground floor of a brand new soap opera, with new episodes regularly.  Start reading today!

Pornhub “Pulls Out” of Texas

Effective Thursday, March 14, 2024, Pornhub is no longer accessible in Texas–sorry, Multiperv.  As a protest to the age verification law, PornHub suspended access to its site.

On the heels of Louisiana and Utah’s laws requiring age verification before viewing porn, Texas passed a similar law in June of 2023, slated to take effect September 1, 2023.  [See the history of HB 1181]  Until last November, the Texas law has been under appeal.  [See my earlier blog post about age gates here]

Last month, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued Pornhub’s parent company, Aylo.  When he filed the suit, he said, “Texas has a right to protect its children from the detrimental effects of pornographic content.  I look forward to holding any company accountable that violates our age verification laws intended to prevent minors from being exposed to harmful, obscene material on the internet.”

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the law, which carries fines of up to $10,000 a day, an additional $10,000 per day if the company illegally retains identifying information, and $250,000 if one or more children are exposed to explicit content due to the violation.  You can read the full decision here.

Pornhub, however, disagrees.  In addition to the paragraph in the image above, Pornhub’s message indicates they will not give up and are consulting with lawyers.  In the interim, they state that they are complying with the law.

The message also states:  “While safety and compliance are at the forefront of our mission, providing identification every time you want to visit an adult platform is not an effective solution for protecting users online, and in fact, will put minors and your privacy at risk.”

In talking with Variety.com, Pornhub reasserted its claims from 2023 that the law actually causes more harm, because their site is safe.  If people can’t access it, they will go to other sites with less restriction, which could lead to other problems, including data theft and privacy violations.

Pornhub urges other pornographic sites to obey the laws and to not give up the fight.

I help many people understand toys and/or basic kink as well as coach them on communicating. Specifically, men who are in longstanding relationships and want to bring up the kink topic with their partners.

I am an amazing coach. Take my word for it… and others’, too. I’ve asked people to write letters of recommendation. If you missed the first one, you can read it here.

Letter of Recommendation from Nerts2u:

To whom it may concern:

I had the opportunity to correspond with BJ Frazier back and forth for several months as I have both tried to heal my marriage and introduce kink into our marriage of over 25 years. I found her perspective, as a woman who has made her own transition from a vanilla to a D/s/kink lifestyle invaluable, and she helped give me great insight into what my wife may be feeling and going through in the midst of this transition. She also gave some very good advice. I can honestly say that our communication is much better in no small part due to her help and advice. I believe her guidance really helped me navigate a very difficult and frightening transition in our marriage successfully. I am happy to report the relationship between my wife and I is much stronger and healthier than ever before and I believe BJ’s help and guidance was a big part of why this has happened. I have found her to be a great listener with a great deal of wisdom. She is also extremely open and nonjudgemental. She has the skills and traits one would look for in sex/kink coach and I highly recommend her.

New and Improved Bots ~ Beware!

Someone DM’d me a post in tumblfux to reblog.  It was perfect for Happy Hump Day except for an embedded message from the original poster:

Pretty good ad, but there’s no way I’m going to reblog it because it looks like a bot to me.  Plus, her homepage says she’s a “LEATHER AND FEET FETISH MOMMY”, followed by a link, then it says, “I’M YOUR SUPERIOR GODDESS”

On the surface, it might attract submissives.  But if you use the head on your shoulders, those statements don’t have anything to do with pegging.

It might also fool people because there’s a link on the homepage, and the avatar is a gif, which you’re to assume is the actual superior goddess herself.

I clicked the link, which took me to her Linktree with “her picture” and a heading that reads:  “I am your Addiction bow and serve me”

Under that are icons for Facebook, Discord and Telegram.  Then an application form link, which I have copied for you –>

Remember, the original post was an advertisement for pegging yet the form is strictly a pay-me form. And with such a limited form, it’s asking for quite a bit of personal information.

Please think carefully before you give out personal information to “dominant women” seeking submissives, and remember that true dominant women don’t need to seek.

Here’s what you had to say after the last blog post.

toymax ~ Sex in 2040? It’s amazing to read these conflicting opinions – especially Dani Brown’s and Sally Bend’s. My opinion is, it’s not a secret that technology development goes faster and faster every year. It won’t stop. We will most likely have more sex that includes technology – let it be robot dolls (not sure if they will already be real and affordable in 2040, but they will come) or VR. It will be easier to get the very own preferences fulfilled in a much easier way. But I’m also sure that no technology can fully substitute the ‘real’. Let alone the warmth and the scent of a real person.  [Perhaps by 2040, “scent” will be a bonus feature of VR and AI]

Speaking AI: This will become an increasingly bigger problem, because the AI engines are already damn good and some readers will not even notice the errors mentioned in the article, such as the change in times or the person’s perspective. Booksellers like Amazon should have effective control programs to distinguish AI-generated books from real ones. A very effective method is and remains to buy books directly from the author. I see nothing bad in using AI for covers, because AI isn’t per se bad, it’s just a tool to support us.  [What an amazing perspective, Max–AI could be the downfall of ‘zon and force readers to buy directly from the authors!  I say that with glee because the general public doesn’t understand how much ‘zon takes in royalties from authors.  I definitely prefer people to purchase my books directly from my website]

Save the Date! I’m looking forward to something new – the preview already made me excited. And to use the words of one of my Sci-fi heroes: “May the Dominion and the Sugilite live long and prosper.”  [*big smiles*  It is released now, and I hope it lives up to those weighty icons!  Thank you for the review!]

rubbug ~ I didn’t realize the sci-fi/fantasy book would be out so soon!  I gotta hurry up and finish all my other reading now.  [Thank you for hurrying up and for writing a review!  :)]

Send me your comments, and I’ll put them in the next blog post!

Book Club Recap

We discussed “Best Served Cold” last week.  Our first question came from Nerts2u, who quoted Moulin Rouge:  “Never fall in love with a [sex worker].  It always ends badly.”  We discussed whether that pearl of wisdom is accurate or not.  So I’ll pose it to you… do you agree or disagree with that statement?

Another hot topic in Book Club is protocol.  Readers love to point out when characters don’t follow BDSM tenets, especially so when they’re professionals, as in “Best Served Cold”.  They should therefore be held to higher standards.

We agreed about the tenets… and I reminded people that characters are like people, and they come with flaws.  In this book, protocol was broken or bent when the character let her emotions take over.  Other people also recognized that the relationship between the two characters had blurred lines beyond strictly professional.

Thanks to everyone who participated; it was a blast!  I’m also happy and relieved that the messages in the chatroom were visible  🙂
