Did Someone Mention Soap Opera?

Readers who have finished “The Dominion and the Sugilite ~ Episode 1″ are eager for more!  Early reviews are in, and they’re positive.  Start the series today and you won’t have to wait to read Episode 2!

I have written several series, and I normally put a recap at the beginning of subsequent books.  For D/s, though, I will not be doing that.  The episodes are bite-sized, and they’ll be coming out frequently.  Readers should be able to keep track and/or have access to go back to previous episodes.

As it’s a new world, phonetic spellings of names will be provided… but only the first time they appear.

This series is vastly different from my normal writing process, where I don’t begin until I know the end.  I have to admit, though, I am loving this!  The ideas flow with each scene, and I have to keep track of backstories and foreshadowing so I don’t lose anything.

I also have to admit that “ideas” aren’t the only things “flowing”… I’ve had to take many breaks during the writing process. :p

Listen to B.J.

In reading the soap aloud to Thomas and Claire (separately), a couple of things popped up that I wish to clarify, and it can only be done orally.  *grin*

Please listen my recording about a couple of beginning insights to the soap.

You’re welcome.

Thank you for the early reviews!

Speaking of Reviews…

Thank you to readers who have diligently posted reviews after reading my books.  Reviews are an important tool to attract potential readers.  If you’ve read my books but haven’t left a review, please take the time to do it now.

Additionally, “likes” help to promote books within Goodreads.  While you’re leaving a review, take the time to “like” other reviews.  Or, if you find yourself with a few extra minutes, head to my Goodreads page and have fun liking the reviews for all of my books!

Specifically…

Sally Bend has added another 5-star review to my DomCon trilogy, giving it a clean sweep of five-star accolades.

I love how Sally has summarized the series:

“This series is like the definitive comic book crossover/team-up of the erotica genre, with B.J. Frazier bringing in characters . . . to explore DomCon (a very real BDSM/femdom convention) through a fictionalized story. You don’t need to be a fan to enjoy this, but regular readers will enjoy seeing what their favorite characters are up to.”

Read her full review and, while you’re there, be sure to “like” it, too!  Then, add your own review.

Also, reviews for the first episode of the Fantasy/Sci-Fi soap opera can be found here.  Please read, like and add your own!

New Wish List

I have switched my Wish List to Throne.  Many thanks to toymax, who had the honors of being my first wish fulfill-er! …since he was the one who found the replacement wish list.  😀

Throne is actually my THIRD wish list.  In between the time I drafted this blog post and today’s posting, the first replacement had fallen to its financial processors.  That company has been attacking in Twitshitland–posting letters stating acceptance of their terms, then follow-ups indicating they were being terminated for “crowd funding”.  The processor requested a direct contact.

I’m not sure how that’s going to turn out but, because my first wish list is still not back up and running at full capacity.  So I’m not confident the second one will prevail, which is why I switched to Throne.

However, Throne is backed by the same financial processor AND it boasts about crowd-funded gifts.

What’s the point to all of this… aside from the all-too-common undertone of corporate bullying?  Better fulfill one of my wishes while you can!  😀

Audiobook Update

I know many of you have been looking forward to listening to “Mistress Managed – Book One”, and I have been excited to present it to you.  Actually, I had hoped to do that last month but there were some massive post-production issues.Mistress Managed - Book 1

So massive that Thomas and I will be rerecording the majority in a couple of weeks.  It should go relatively smoothly, now that all of the technical levels have been perfected.

I am hopeful for a May release.  The good news is that post-production is going quickly on books Two and Three, so there shouldn’t be too much of an audio “wait” once the first book becomes available.

If you’d like to read the trilogy before you listen, you can get all three books as one–the way it was written–with “Mistress Managed – The Complete Set” and start reading today!

Eclipse

A quick tip for anyone who might be observing the eclipse next week… one of you should wear red clothing, and the person you’re with should wear green (or vice-versa).  The eclipse affects the way we perceive color, so it will be cool to experience.  I intend on taking this advice.

Delaware Online has more handy tips in their recent article.

Have fun and stay safe!

Another Innovative Bot?

New bot caption in Twitshitland

This “person” advertises domination at a one-time fee.  As you can see, the profile is quite sparse, and there’s no link.  Thanks to Multiperv for sharing what appears to be a new scheme, after he received the all-impressive “Hello” DM.

Multiperv assumes once you make contact and/or the “one-time payment”, it will turn out *not* to be that; instead, there will be a ton more asks/demands for payment.

If anyone else receives this type of message from a similar account, and you’re interested in investigating for the rest of us, please let me know about your communication!

In the meantime, stay safe!

Here’s what you had to say after the last blog post.

Multiperv ~ Thanks for the shoutout on the ‘No Pornhub in Texas’ article. Fortunately I think I’ve only been on Pornhub, briefly, about a dozen times in the past 15 years, so it’s not hurting me. But it could well be a harbinger of things to come. They may even some day block access to bdsmlr but then, how would I know if it was them or the site just being down again?  [OMG, I’m laughing because that’s SO true about bdsmlr… and, on the inside, I’m crying for the same reason]

Congrats on the relationship coach endorsements. I hope some of these guys bring their partners to Domcon so they and/or the wives can thank you personally.  [An awesome idea, MP!]

It’s great and no doubt valuable that you continue to provide your ‘fake domme’ education.  [Thank you, and thanks for the warning on the recent Twitshitland bot scheme]

Very interesting post by Future of Sex and the YouTube clip from rubbug.  Given the rapid advancement of robotics and AI, there may be some non-human partner options by 2040. What would happen to the porn industry if most people turn to their real or android partner for fun?

While AI advancement is worrisome for military and police applications, and ‘deepfake’ and job loss concerns, I think people will prefer real interaction. Maybe prices will increase with real interactions. And, of course, given the Texas article and some other recent laws, lawmakers will try to create laws to limit what people can do in THEIR OWN FREAKING HOMEs. I’m mad already. Whether this all happens by 2040 is another question but I think there is a pretty good chance it will.  [Preach!]

As to Nerts2u’s question “Never fall in love with a sex worker”…. I disagree. Didn’t one or more of the pro dommes you’ve interviewed at DomCon have long-term partners?  [Yes, you are correct.  Most of them were polyamorous, but all had healthy conversations before and during the relationships.  Communication is key!]

Has it started to annoy you when people ‘love to point out’ lapses in protocol [during Book Club]? The stories wouldn’t be as interesting if everything was followed properly. It also brings up questions about WHY the characters aren’t following tenets.  [I actually love it because people are thinking!  It’s a rush when people analyze the characters I’ve created as if they’re actual people.  But I agree with you, MP, if they weren’t flawed, we wouldn’t have anything to discuss… and the WHY is what makes it interesting]

KleinschwanzCucky ~ Regarding pornhub in Texas: What happened to the „land of the free“?  [Indeed, KC! It’s interpreted as free so long as you agree with the moral majority  *sigh*]

Send me your comments, and I’ll put them in the next blog post!

Question:  Do you think steel cages are good, especially for longer wearing periods?

B.J.’s Answer:  Thanks for the question.  By rule, steel cages are for long-term wear.  They’re more comfortable and more hygienic.  Steel cages with slats provide the ability to clean in the shower without removal, thereby sustaining long-term wear.  In contrast, plastic cages are for beginners and short-term wear.

However, it’s important to have a custom fit for a long-term chastity device.  Here are two sites with instructions on how to measure.  The first.  And the second.  Let me know which one you think is better.

If the measurements are precise, there won’t be room to “grow”.  Some men prefer a bit of length to trick the cock into thinking it can get hard, making the denial more severe.  The choice is yours.

Although you didn’t ask, I have to mention a couple of things.  It’s best to gradually get used to a chastity device; meaning, don’t slap one on and expect to wear it forever your first time.  Being locked gives the wearer a heightened sense of arousal, as everything becomes sexual.  It’s the “don’t look now but…” effect.

Also, even with the best and properly-fitted cages, there is bound to be some chafing.  Purchase some oil or cream along with your cage, and it will help with long-term wear.

One more thing.  Even with a slatted cage, it’s good to remove it in the shower periodically to make sure everything is clean.

Happy hunting, and let me know which one you choose!

Sean’s Answer:  I’ll defer to B.J. on this issue as I don’t have any direct experience with cages.  I’ve used cock straps before, but it’s not the same thing.

What B.J. says seems intuitive to me.  That’s a very sensitive area of the body and is (surprisingly) easy to injure if you’re not careful.  Do some research.  Make decisions about what type to get and when to buy it when you’re not in “billy goat” mode.  This is one thing that definitely should not be an impulse buy.

Discuss it with your partner.  Agree that safety is the primary concern.  Obviously, a custom fit cage would work the best, but try some others first to make sure this type of play is really for you.  If you are claustrophobic you might find that having a body part immobilized (more or less) could be a trigger.

Make sure you are able to keep the area squeaky clean, particularly if you dribble a lot during playtime.  Have fun and BE SAFE!
